Roman archer's spangen helmet
Many depictions on ancient tombs and reliefs show archers of the Roman army - mainly recruited from oriental provinces - equipped with conical spangen helmets.
Our reproduction is made of steel with brass spangen. The neck protector is made of suede with brass slats sewn onto it. The helmet has cheek pieces made of steel and brass.
Includes a high-quality and adjustable leather inlay with chin strap.
