The helmet we propose is the ancestor of the helmet with nosepiece, in fact within about a century, the nosepiece was added to this type of helmet, up to the Norman helmet with nosepiece.

Norman helmet is the name used to indicate a particular type of iron helmet with a long nosepiece (hence the name Nasalhelm in German, "Helm with nose piece") widespread in Europe in the 9th century.
At the beginning of the 11th century, the nasal helmet was the most widespread type of helmet in Europe.
At the start of the Crusades, all warriors able to afford it had a helmet with a nosepiece.
The wealthiest warriors wore the helmet over the chainmail, compensating for the lack of protection for the cheeks, neck and partially also the shoulders.
During the 12th century, the helmet tile with nosepiece underwent several evolutions.

A brass strip characterizes this helmet and makes it unique.

The nasal helmet was abandoned during the 13th century in favor of the increasingly widespread large helmet. The transition, however, was not abrupt; As late as 1250, the iconography of the "Maciejowski Bible" presents many figures of warriors armed with nosepiece helmets.

All our helmets are suitable for historical re-enactment parades, exhibitions and above buhurt (heavy combat), in the latter case it is necessary to choose the 2mm thickness.
