Medieval harness - Italian Plate armor

The harness includes breastplate with a fauld of three steel bands, a backplate and an additional breastplate, in Italian called "panziera".

This beautiful harness model is unique, it is composed of a double breastplate, the second can be attached or left free thanks to the leather strap, present both on the back and front. On request the two pieces can be directly welded. Having a double breastplate guarantees even more safety and more resistance to blows.

Although our armors are custom made, they can be adjusted with the riveted leather straps and their authentic buckles, so as to give customers who wear it the opportunity to choose how tight it should be. The leather straps near the shoulders are used to attach arm protectors, pauldrons or other protections that you already have, or will want to purchase in the future.
The used material is your choice, between carbon steel, polished or burnished, and stainless steel. Stainless steel is not suitable for combat, as it is fragile and would be damaged very easily.

The harness is absolutely functional, It guarantees optimal coverage of the hips, pelvis, waist, chest, groin, lower abdomen and back while maintaining freedom of frontal and lateral movement.

The harness is suitable for historical reenactments, LARP and armor (heavy combat), in the latter case we strongly recommend the thickness of 1.5mm or even better 2mm.
Before taking the indicated measurements, it is necessary to wear the clothing that you will wear under the armor, to avoid it being too tight.
For heights over 190 cm a surcharge may be required.

These medieval armors are produced in Italy by expert Italian blacksmiths and craftsmen, for generations we have handed down the art of producing helmets and armour, using the best raw materials.
