Medieval Back Plate

The Back Plate is slightly curved to better adhere to the body and guarantee greater protection and features a central welding line.

The used material is your choice between polished or burnished carbon steel, or stainless steel. Stainless steel is not suitable for combat, as it is fragile and would be damaged very easily. Also the thickness of the steel is your choice.

Medieval Back Plate is an artisanal product made manually in Italy, functional and suitable for historical reenactment, LARP and buhurt(heavy combat), in the latter case we strongly recommend the thickness of 1.5mm or even better 2mm.
The Breastplate is customized for the characteristics of each customer, before taking the indicated measurements, it's necessary to wear the clothing that you will wear under the armor, to avoid it being too tight. For heights over 190 cm a surcharge may be required.

The Back Plate can be regulated using the leather straps and related buckles, giving customers the opportunity to choose how tight it should be. This Back Plate adapts to the other breastplates made by us.

Our Medieval Back Plate guarantee protection of the whole back while maintaining freedom of movement.

Measurements that will be specified at the order moment:

- Circumference at breast level.

- Circumference at the waist.

- Weight of the person.

- Total height of the person.

These medieval armors are produced in Italy by expert Italian blacksmiths and craftsmen, for generations we have handed down the art of producing helmets and armour, using the best raw materials.
