The armet is a type of combat helmet which was developed in the 15th century.
It was extensively used in Italy, France, England, the Low Countries and Spain.
It was distinguished by being the first helmet of its era to completely enclose the head while being compact and light enough to move with the wearer.
Its use was essentially restricted to the fully armoured man-at-arms.
The lines that connect the breathing holes are included in this model, on request they can be removed or modified if communicated at the order moment, in case of no communication they will be made as in the first photo.
The breathing holes are made on both cheeks, on request they can only be made on one side.
On the back of the helmet there is a hole, so you can insert your own plume.
All our helmets are suitable for historical re-enactment parades, exhibitions and above all buhurt (heavy combat), in the latter case it is necessary to choose the 2mm thickness.
Our Armet models are ideal for buhurt (mandatory 2mm thickness), guaranteeing maximum protection, on request the eye holes can be reduced or blocked, thus completely limiting any injury.
These medieval helmets are produced in Italy by expert Italian blacksmiths and craftsmen, for generations we have passed down the art of producing helmets and armor, using the best raw materials.
