This mesh of this chain mail consists of round, unriveted rings. The surface of the rings is blackened and offers a quite good protection against corrosion. We call this particular mesh BMSB (Butted Mild Steel Blackened).
This high-quality and handmade chain mail is a so-called Hauberk, which means that it is long-sleeved and reaches to the knees. Such a powerful chain armor covers most of the body. This historically authentic cut has often been extended by frontal and / or lateral slots for a better mobility of the wearer. As a result, these long chain mail can be worn comfortably even by riders on horses. Our Hauberk has no slots, so it can be individually customized by the wearer. In addition, it has conical shaped sleeves tapering by one ring every 5 cm.
