Great helm of the XIVth century. The original, dating back about to the year 1375, is kept at the Scottish Museum in Edinburgh and it is said it belonged to sir Richard Pembridge. Used by the heavy cavalry usually worn over a mail coif. It has a slight.
Replica of a late 12th century helmet as worn by knights of the Christian orders, like Hospitallers and Templars during the crusades. Similar helmets are shown in the beautiful illustrated and unique Maciejowski bible.
A comfortable, adjustable, and padded liner is riveted into the helmet, as well as a leather chin-strap with a brass buckle
