This helmet is an authentic copy of a late medieval German sallet. Gothic Sallet helmet with visor mobile for armor is a type helmet with headgear.
The Gothic Sallet were very popular with knights in Central Europe during the 15th century.
The helmet is handmade from steel. Thickness of the steel to choose: 1,2 mm - 1,5 mm - 2 mm
A comfortable, adjustable, and padded liner is riveted into the helmet, as well as a leather chin-strap with a stell buckle.

I have express my appreciation for this excellent purchase. I have had several hundreds of authentic helmets from the 1800s and 1900s pass through my hands, but this is the first replica helmet that I have have ever bought. It makes a marvellous display of helmet evolution. I am especially pleased that products are made in Italy by Italian artisans.
