Oil lamp with the Goddess of Fortune

Reproduction of object of Roman art, reproduction of a lamp functioning of the 1th century D.C., was used to illuminate the different rooms of the house. They consist of a main body which acts as a reservoir, by one or more spouts and sometimes by a handle. Through the feeding hole on the body, the tank was filled with oil that burned through a wick in linen or hemp. They were composed in various shapes or simply was decorated with the disc mythological images, scenes of everyday life, animal.
