This cuirass, used in the mid-15th century, was primarily worn by men on horseback and attached to the body with leather straps and buckles at the back. You will notice the Italian style, while in the historic period it was produced by the armorers of Lombardy, Italy, based on the flat surface of the shell and the linear edges. Handmade in Italy, cut or polished, and tailored to be specified when ordering.
