Gothic Sallet - Medieval Helmet

Gothic Sallet XVth century. The original is kept in Rome at the museum of Palazzo Venezia (Odescalchi Collection). This replica of a Gothic sallet is true to original and battle-ready. It combines authentic presentation and maximized security in combat. The original is dated around 1480.

The Gothic Sallett were very popular with knights in Central Europe during the 15th century.

The helmet is handmade from steel. Thickness of the steel to choose: 1 mm - 1,2 mm - 1,5 mm - 2 mm

A comfortable, adjustable, and padded liner is riveted into the helmet, as well as a leather chin-strap with a stell buckle.
