Sica Sword
The sica was a one-edged, curved dagger with thrakian-illirian origin. In Rome, the sica was primarily used by gangs of thieves, which were called sicarii. This weapon was also used by the thraeces, a special kind of gladiator. This reproduction of a sica features the classic curved blade, which is made of EN45 spring steel. The blade is not sharpened. The handle, pommel and guard are made of skillful crafted wood. A brass plate was inserted in the guard to assure safety.
