The gladiator shoulder protector was worn on the left shoulder by gladiators to protect the most exposed arm, but it could also protect the neck and head by shots coming from that sector during the fight. In use among the gladiators, in particular represented the only protection allowed to Retiarius, a star gladiators category of light fighters who otherwise wore only a pelvic cover.

Our replica has two leather straps.

This product is made to measure; after ordering, you will be asked to provide your shoulder circumference to personalize the product.
You can also choose the steel thickness.
