Viking Helmet Inspired by models common in Northern Europe from the 8th century onward, this skullcap-shaped Viking helmet with a nose guard recalls one of the most iconic symbols of early medieval weaponry, made famous by the peoples of Scandinavia and the Viking raids in Western Europe.
Crafted entirely by hand from the highest-quality carbon steel, it is an Italian artisan product, forged according to the ancient tradition of Italian armorers passed down from generation to generation since the Middle Ages.
Each piece is meticulously crafted to ensure robustness, historical authenticity, and an excellent level of finish.
Fully wearable and functional, it is ideal for both reenactment combat and medieval parades and historical reenactments.
The helmet is available in various thicknesses (1 mm, 1.2 mm, 1.5 mm, and 2 mm / 16–14 ga), to adapt to different needs, from stage performance to the most demanding combat.
The interior features an adjustable leather liner, designed for maximum comfort and stability, as well as a leather chin strap with a brass buckle for a secure fit.
Available sizes (S, M, L, and XL) allow you to choose the right fit based on your head circumference.
You can also choose your preferred finish: polished or burnished (lightly oiled). A stainless steel version is also available upon request at an additional cost.
The helmet can be customized in size and thickness to meet specific needs. The model shown in the photos features both non-riveted and riveted chainmail; both versions can be selected from the options when ordering. Upon request, the protective band welded to the helmet's top can be modified to fit the "cross" shape shown in the images, with one or two rivets per band.
Production time: 14–18 business days.
