Gothic Sallet - Medieval Helmet
Gothic Sallet were a variant of the bascinet, intended to be worn without an aventail or visor. This helmet is an authentic copy of a late medieval German sallet.The original was probably made in Nuremberg, Germany well-known for their excellent armourers in medieval times. It is dated around 1480 AD.

The helmet is handmade from steel. Thickness of the steel to choose:1mm - 1,2 mm - 1,5mm - 2 mm
A comfortable, adjustable, and padded liner is riveted into the helmet, as well as a leather chin-strap with a stell buckle.
