Reconstruction of a crusader great helm from ca. 1180 a.d., also called pot helm, bucket helm and barrel helm, is a helmet of the High Middle Ages which arose in the late twelfth century in the context of the Crusades and remained in use until the fourteenth century. They were used by knights and heavy infantry in most European armies between the XIII and XIV centuries.

Replica of a late 12th century helmet as worn by knights of the Christian orders, like Hospitallers and Templars during the crusades. Similar helmets are shown in the beautiful illustrated and unique Maciejowski bible. 

A comfortable, adjustable, and padded liner is riveted into the helmet, as well as a leather chin-strap with a brass buckle.

- Thickness of the steel to choose 1mm -2mm -(16 ga -14 ga).
- Finish: untreated (slightly oiled)
- Adjustable liner with chin straps is included.
