The bascinet is differentiated from the cervelliere by having a higher, pointed skull. This model of medieval helmet bascinet was popular in the XIV century.
This model of medieval helmet is compliant to SCA-standards.
This bascinet helmet design enabled the user to wear a gorget.
You can upgrade your helmet by choosing options: thickness of metal, steel finish (polished or burnished), head circumference.
A comfortable, adjustable, and padded liner is riveted into the helmet, as well as a leather chin-strap with a stell buckle.
